ALTAR is a poignant exploration of reconciliation, drawing audiences into the subconscious of its HIV+ queer protagonist as they revisit pivotal life events from a hospital room. Fluidly weaving between reality and fantasy, past and present, despair and hope, the performance transforms the stage into a labyrinth of the subconscious. Inspired by Joseph Campbell's Hero’s Journey, it confronts the shadowed aspects of the self, uncovering the roots of resilience and aliveness.
